In the absence of light… Darkness prevails

Dark Forest

A civil war is a war between organized groups within the same nation-state or republic, or, less commonly, between two countries created from a formerly united nation state.The aim of one side may be to take control of the country or a region, to achieve independence for a region, or to change government policies.

A civil war is a high-intensity conflict, often involving regular armed forces, that is sustained, organized and large-scale. Civil wars may result in large numbers of casualties and the consumption of significant resources. http://www.wikipedia.com

Such wars normally starts with a simple conflict; mainly of a fundamental nature; be it religious or power; that it normally escalates unexpectedly to become a real civil conflict where innocent civilians are used as excuse to fuel it and make it last longer.

in such cases every side will claim that they had no clue things will escalate to that extent; and that if they knew they wouldn’t allow it. yet I disagree, cause each side (mostly) have received insights and can see for themselves what was going on; so if they didn’t knew for real; then that is a huge problem for the crowds were following a real fool; and if they knew and did nothing to stop it; well… what can I say further?

Civil wars have further resulted in economic collapse; Burma (Myanmar), Uganda and Angola are examples of nations that were considered to have promising futures before being engulfed in civil wars. http://www.wikipedia.com

Many would think that I am standing against people’s well, and against democracy… I would ask them; is democracy an equal term to chaos? is democracy another word for getting innocent people into wars God didn’t call for? or does it mean go with the flow? I totally agree that “the voice of people is the voice of God”  but what if the voice of people was in support of adultery? would God support such voice?

God and today’s states is a hard combination if not impossible; I’m a believer; but I never walked on water and could never wake the dead; but I do believe that any man is an equal to any other. my view of a modern Utopia is as such.

A basic insight in religion; most religions… is to live and let live… so imagine a Muslim state allowing all other religions to practice their  faiths the way they see fit with no boundaries; and with no objection from the Muslims in that state… would that exist? if it would; I’m sure it will be called heaven on earth… Same goes to a Christian state; to allow all sects and religions practice their faiths as they like and see fit.

if that ever existed; I would like to have a chat with religious leaders in that country (if it is to exist) and see what they have to say. would they like it? would they encourage it and co-exist happily eve rafter? I highly doubt it; even some will call for a holy war to reinstate the word of “their” God in his land! back to square one!

The days of prophets are gone; for some that will be absence of light! leaving the place for darkness to take over. is that the way it should be? why don’t we all become a source of light? why don’t we all become messengers of God and let light prevail instead?

Fighting was hardly the solution to solve anything; instead a win/win situation could be worked out; right? who am I kidding… such things became unavoidable… Yet; of a better tomorrow I dream; and in my fellow-men I believe…

from where the troops are to be seen marching on;
